Homecoming Kick-Off Bash

Outside in front of Buell Hall

This event will be held outside in front of Buell Hall in block party format with inflatables, food, games, and a DJ. We will close the road in front of Buell and use the parking lot.

Homecoming Kickoff March Around Campus/Donut Pass Out

To kickoff EMU Homecoming week, the EMU Spirit Squads will spread spirit around the EMU Campus during the lunch hour on October 6. Swoop, the EMU Band, Cheer and Dance team will make stops at the Student Center, Halle Library, Welch Hall, The Commons and Residence Halls. Get ready to sing the EMU Fight Song with pride as we kick off Homecoming Week on the campus of EMU! Spirited students will get free donuts from the EMU Cheer and Dance teams on the route around campus!

An Evening with Olympian Diver Jack Laugher

Jack Laugher is the current British Champion in all age groups and has laid down a marker in his first year on the senior circuit. He competed at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi and also at the World Championships in Shanghai. He finished eighth at the World Championships and competed at the London 2012 Olympics.

Chance’s Album – Acid Rap was listed on multiple 50 best albums of 2013 lists, including 26th for Rolling Stone, 12th on Pitchfork’s list, and ranked 4th by Complex. It was also listed as one of NPR Music’s 50 Favorite Albums Of 2013.

Represent your nation in the Homecoming Opening Ceremony, the Parade of Nations! Students will march into the stadium, grouped by country, carrying their nation’s flag like the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics. Each year over 100 countries are represented.
