We’re nearly in the home stretch. There aren’t too many LBC events this week, but the ones that are happening are very interesting. A great way to pick up those quick points to help close the gap as we near the end of the semester. Also a great week for finishing up projects. Don’t forget to proofread!

Women’s Resource Center Hosts Nutrition Workshop

From 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

The Women’s Resource Center and Office of Nutrition Services brings you a program focusing on nutrition needs of women. ONS staff will share information and tips related to women’s specific nutritional needs. Light and healthy snacks will be served!

Dr. Matthew Menachem Feuer, “The Body of Jewish Comedy”

From 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM

We see the “body” in Jewish comedy as too fat or too thin, too old or too young, too reserved or too sexual. Dr. Matthew Menachem Feuer will discuss these extremes and their meaning, which not only inform “schlemiel” comedy but in many ways define it.
